Mount Sentinel
A DEM was generated from LiDAR of the Castlegar area which was then used to generate 7 different contours at roughly 170m intervals. In the displayed map they're presented as a flat 2D view. However, once transferred onto plywood each set of contour lines is cut separately, with all other features being etched in. Once cut all the pieces are precisely stacked and the final product is a 3D relief of the area, in the case focused around Mount Sentinel near Castlegar, BC.

UAV Imagery
A drone collected high-density imagery. These images were then fed into a program designed to look for commonality and stitch images together. Then post-processed using ground control points to create an orthorectified image with known geographic locations. To generate the 3D view the orthorectified imagery was draped overtop of a DSM for the area generated off of first return LiDAR points.

Mapping CVD & Potentially Influencing Factors
CVD data was visualized across Canada and 2 variables were examined to do a visual comparison on whether or not either variable had an apparent correlation with increasing or decreasing CVD rates.
